Position
We are looking for an
Operations Specialist Intern to support the Global Operations team in ensuring the reliability, performance and scalability of Atlante’s fast-charging network across Europe. In this role, you will contribute to monitoring operational KPIs, analysing network performance, supporting troubleshooting activities and helping standardise processes and tools across countries to drive operational excellence.
Brief Description Of The Role
As Operations Specialist Intern, you will support the Global Operations team in ensuring the smooth, reliable, and scalable functioning of Atlante’s fast-charging network across multiple geographies. You will contribute to the monitoring, coordination, analysis, and continuous improvement of operational activities related to Atlante’s EV charging infrastructure. Working closely with Local Operations teams, Digital & Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurements, Customer Experience, and external partners, you will help drive operational excellence, improve network performance, and support the standardization of processes and tools across Atlante’s markets.
Value Creation
Through data analysis, operational monitoring, process support, and cross-country coordination, you will help Atlante improve network reliability, reduce downtime, and scale its operations in a consistent and efficient way. You will support the Global Operations team in collecting and analyzing operational data, improving reporting tools, contributing to standard operating procedures, and helping local teams adopt scalable and replicable working methodologies.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring of Atlante’s fast-charging network performance across different countries;
- Assist in tracking network uptime, availability, reliability, and key operational KPIs.
- Support the analysis of operational issues, recurring failures, and downtime causes.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and remote troubleshooting activities, including log review and data checks.
- Support the Global Operations team in coordinating with local Operations & Maintenance teams.
- Help monitor ticketing processes and field service activities across different markets.
- Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of operational data for reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of firmware update processes according to manufacturer instructions and internal guidelines.
- Contribute to the design, documentation, and standardization of global operating procedures.
- Help identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, digital tools, and scalable methodologies.
- Actively contribute to Atlante’s operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Your Background:
- Master’s degree in engineering, energy, management civil, electrical, or equivalent education.
- Strong interest in e-mobility, renewable energy, infrastructure operations, and the energy transition.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work with operational data, KPIs, and performance reports.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills, precision, and attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams, functions, and countries.
- Valid driving licence and availability for occasional on-site visits across Atlante’s charging network.
Is Consider a Plus
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, EV charging infrastructure, or energy assets.
- Previous internship, academic project, or thesis experience in operations, energy, e-mobility, engineering, data analysis, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Grafana, Tableau, or similar.
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, Zendesk, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of e-mobility communication protocols such as OCPP, OCPI, or OICP.
